HRD Ministry to DU: UGC is supreme, abide by the rules

With the recent turn of events on FYUP and the UGC standoff, Human Resource Development minister, Smriti Irani has said that the HRD ministry will not take any call on the tussle between UGC and DU.She has made it very clear that the UGC is supreme in such issues, and the HRD Ministry has no say in it.Protests have been on outside the HRD ministry, with students and teachers asking for a final decision, and also the scrapping of the FYUP.
