The Aam Aadmi Party will challenge the court order on its convenor Arvind Kejriwal's arrest, after he refused to furnish the bail bond in a defamation case filed by BJP leader Nitin Gadkari, if the judge asks for the bond to be paid on Friday,
The hearing in the case will come in the Patiala House court on Friday.
"When the court meets tomorrow, we will argue again that a bail bond is not necessary. If the judge still insists, we will go to a higher court," party leader Prashant Bhushan.
The Patiala House court on Wednesday sent Kejriwal to two-day judicial custody after he refused to furnish the bail amount of Rs. 10,000, hours after declaring that the party was ready for fresh elections in the Capital.
