Sensex at all time high

Extending yesterday's gains, the benchmark BSE Sensex touched a life high of 23,038.60 points in closing hour of trade Friday on robust buying by investors.
The 30-share index, which had gained 20.14 points in yesterday's volatile session, rose further by 650.19 points, or 2.91 percent, to 22,994.23 after hitting record high of 23,038.60 earlier, with stocks of realty, capital goods, banking, power and metals sectors moving up.
The National Stock Exchange index Nifty also moved up by 206.10 points, or 3.09 percent, to 6,865.95 after making an intra-day high of 6,870.35.
