Shahnawaz Hussain slams Rahul Gandhi for EC complaint

Rahul Gandhi today complained to the Election Commission after spotting a lotus, the BJP's poll symbol, sketched inside a polling booth in Amethi, from where he is contesting for the third time.

In a polling station in the Phula village in Tiloi, Mr Gandhi saw a lotus flower drawn with chalk on a school classroom. He pointed it out to polling officials and said he would formally complain to the Election Commission.

Mr Gandhi is touring Amethi extensively on polling day for the first time in 10 years. The Aam Aadmi Party has complained against him for traveling with 15 vehicles on polling day, but Congress workers say he wants to ensure there is no poll violation.
