Congress gets 12 seats from Lalu Prasad Yadav

After a long wait and a series of meetings, the Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal finalised their alliance in Bihar for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Out of the 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, the Congress will contest on 12 seats while Lalu Prasad's party will field candidates in 27 other seats. The Nationalist Congress Party will be fighting for one seat in the state. However, the seat distribution is not yet clear.
