Parliament met today for its final session before the national election, and as expected, both houses were quickly adjourned after angry disruptions over the plans to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh and create a Telangana state.

I appeal to the government to make student hostels for people from the North-East where they can stay with students from other parts of India.
