Lucknow: Dr Sanjay Singh, Congress MP from Sultanpur, is apparently veering tow¬ards the BJP. According to sources, Dr Singh, who represents the Sultanpur that lies adjacent to Amethi, may now contest the Amethi seat against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on a BJP ticket. The Congress MP, who is the erstwhile Raja of Amethi (Mr Gandhi's constituency), held his birthday celebrations in Amethi on Tuesday and, more than the absence of Congress leaders, it was the presence of BJP leaders at the function that set rumour mills spinning.
