War Over Sardar Patel Statue : Gujarat government tries to curb protest, arrest 10 local leaders

Ahead of Modi laying the foundation stone for statue today, the state government has arrested 10 local leaders from several villages.

All the arrested leaders have been taken to an undisclosed location. The 20-30 villagers are under house arrest in order to curb their protests.
