US ship may escape action if it was beyond Indian waters, says Nehchal Sandhu- NewsX

The security scare remains an enigma. Two days after an FIR was filed against a US arms-laden ship, and more than a month after cruising Indian waters it is still not clear as to how did the ship go undetected for so long. As the investigations continue, a definitive conclusion that can be reached is that the tall claims made by the government on the enhanced security setup have been blown out of the water.

Nehchal Sandhu, deputy national security advisor says investigations are on; it's a case of ship coming into our water. There isn't a political issue here.
