BJP leader M. Venkaiah Naidu said that the Prime Minister should resign.
Rahul Gandhi on Friday said, "The ordinance is a complete nonsense, should be torn and thrown away. All parties do this because of political considerations and we must stop making political compromises." His statement came a few days after the Union Cabinet passed the ordinance shielding convicted legislators over ruling Supreme Court's judgement and it turned out be an embarrassment for the party. The statement has also posed serious questions to the Prime Minister's authority. But Congress President Sonia along with son Rahul reassured the Prime Minister that he's still the king
