Delhi government ordered to recover money from AAP

The Government of India's committee on content regulation of government advertising has indicted the Delhi government for violating Supreme Court guidelines.

The charge is aam aadmi party government splurged on advertisements to target political opponents and to swing public opinion in favour of the party - The Tandon committee ruled on a complaint by Congress leader Ajay Maken against the Delhi government.

The report further states that if some Chief Ministers think that they are very special and their policies are relevant to the entire country, in such cases their political parties should bear the expenditure of such publicity and not the government.
