12-year-old Delhi girl kidnapped, returns home after ten years
Delhi police have finally arrested eight men involved in the kidnapping, rape, trading and selling off of a 12-year-old who was kidnapped from northeast Delhi ten years ago. The girl who was rescued by police after ten gruelling years, returned to her family, confirmed the police.
Reiterating that she was repeatedly raped, the police said that the victim had been sold off to nine individuals within two months in 2009. The kidnapped girl, who is 22-years-old now, has two children with her. Police also said that the gang is suspected of having their involvement in human trafficking by kidnapping young girls and selling them off into the market.
