Blind teacher beats students in Kakinada school in AP

Even as a nation-wide debate rages on over safety of school-children after the shocking rape of a six-year-old girl in a Bangalore school, visually impaired students of a school run by a voluntary organization here were sadistically beaten up by a school administrator for something as trivial as playing outside the campus.

The beating up of students was recorded on a video camera and its footage aired on national TV channels drew outraged gasps from viewers. Sources said the barbaric thrashing took place two days ago at Green Field Blind School but came to light on Monday after the footage surfaced, and soon went viral on social media.
