Breaking News : RTI Amendment Bill to be debated in parliament

New Delhi: The Right to Information Amendment Bill is likely to be discussed in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. The Bill aims at keeping political parties out of RTI ambit. The issue has been in the news after a June 03 Central Information Commission (CIC) order stated that six national political parties would be brought under the RTI Act as they were public authorities, receiving significant funding from the government.
