Now for an update on the murder of Dr Dhabolkar in Pune.
After ruling out the personal enmity angle, the police are now probing the professional enmity as a cause for the murder. The police have sent teams to Satara, Sangli and Thane. They have identified the exit route of the suspects after viewing the CCTV footage. Mobile phone records of Narendra Dabholkar is also being analysed by one of the eight teams of Pune police.
This issue has snowballed into a national saga and this is what the scenes were like.
It was justice too late for Dabholkar and his 18 year-long campaign against superstition. A day after his murder, the Maharashtra government passed the ordinance that the deceased had filed 18 years ago. But is the Govt equipped to understand mysticism and occult?
