Cylinder Explosion : 3 dead , 1 escaped

Three members of a family died while one escaped fire broke due to short-circuit at a shop-cum-residential structure at Anand Ghar locality in Vikhroli (West) on Saturday. The owner and the main family member—Salim Belim (38)—escaped unhurt after spark hit the mattresses kept in the shop and spread wild and came in contact with the two cooking gas cylinders kept each on the mezzanine floor and in the shop. The Vikhroli police said Salim had a narrow escape while his wife Salma (35) and his two sons—Meharaj (15) and Mohammed (8)—died of severe burns before admission at Rajawadi hospital.
