NewsX: Farmers threaten suicide due to loss in Emu farming

NewsX: In Maharashtra, dead ridden farmers are further pressed by hopelessness followed by the losses incurred due to Emu farming. Hallow promises by NABARD but there is no money to rare the bird due to which farmer threaten suicide. Maharashtra Government launched Emu farming project in the state in 2004. NABARD also offered interest free loans to farmers for Emu farming.
