Eid is being celebrated across India

Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramzan for Muslims, is being celebrated across the India today.

Syed Ahmed Bukhari, the Shahi Imam of Delhi's Jama Masjid, said on Friday that the moon was sighted in Hyderabad, Bihar, Manipur, Karnataka,

Assam and Tamil Nadu.

President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished Indians for Eid.
