Ghaziabad : UP Cops slap girl in Police Station

NewsX: Uttar Pradesh is again in news for its lawlessness. In Ghaziabad, the police detained a girl after locals complained that she was found drinking with a man in a car. Cops claim the couple was allegedly also found in an objectionable position.

On your screens, is the high-handedness of the Uttar Pradesh Police. A male cops slaps the girl , when she questions the police move to detain her. The girl is beaten and insulted.

She is dragged by woman cops, but only to be left for locals to have a free-run , the girl is pulled by her clothes and repeatedly slapped. Outraged, the girl shouts back at the cops for ill-treatment.

Regardless whether one is guilty or not, what justifies UP cops acting like brutes and ill-treating the girl.
