BJP: Resignation 'only option' for prime minister

NewsX: A day after the Union government decided to sack law minister Ashwani Kumar and railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansal, the main Opposition party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has demanded for Prime Minister's resignation. It has also decided to start a seven-day 'Jail Bharo Andolan' from May 27 to June 2.
The BJP leadership believes resignation is the only option for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh because the government under his leadership has failed on all fronts. BJP President Rajnath Singh said the PM had failed not only to control inflation, fiscal deficit but also to maintain internal and external security.
