LG vs Arvind Kejriwal: MHA issues directions to end Delhi crisis

To put an end to the ongoing tussle between Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA)on Thursday issued notifications, clarifying the legal provisions which have to be followed in running the day to day functioning of the government. If sources are to be believed, the MHA has made it clear to the AAP government that all the issues concerning land, public order, police and transfer and posting have to be cleared by the Lieutenant Governor. The ministry has also made it clear to the government that the Lieutenant Governor will be sending his instructions to the Chief Minister, as is mandated in the transaction of business rules.
