Thane building collapse: Police arrests DMC Deepak

Prone into the Thane building collapse, which killed 74 people hots up. Two day after the collapse, police have arrested as many as 10 persons including two builders, two top Thane civic officials and two local corporators. The builders Jamail Qureishi and Salim Shaikh, were arrested on Saturday from Uttar Pradesh and Thane respectively for culpable homicide. Sources say that more police officers and corporation staff are poised for arrest as the Crime branch have sent out four teams and the extortion cell has also been roped in as part of the probe.
