Slain soldier Hemraj's kin cheated, conman loots Rs 10 lakh

No sooner has the public attention thinned from the tragedy surrounding the family of slain soldier Lance Naik Hemraj , that a conman managed to dupe the wife of Hemraj for Rs 10 lakhs. NewsX learns that Hemraj's wife Dharmvati was allegedly duped of Rs 10 lakh in the presence of her brother-in-law and a relative near a petrol pump in the outskirts of Kosi town area. In her complaint, Dharmvati said that a man named Amit Kumar, who claimed that he was an Army officer approached her at her native Shernagar village on Friday morning. He said he had been sent by the Army Headquarters.
