Chidambaram praises Akhilesh, says he understands UP

Despite SP Chief Mulayam Sngh calling Congress a cheat and speculation rife about it withdrawing support, Finance Minister P Chidambaram has reached out to SP heaping praise on Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and assuring full central help in UP's development. Chidambram while inaugurating 300 bank branches in Lucknow said, "Akhilesh Yadav is a young leader who understands his state well. I assure the Chief Minister, his team and Netaji that the Government of India will stand by UP Government.
