Allow girl slapped by teacher to attend classes

The Delhi High Court on Monday asked a school here to allow its class five Economically Weaker Section student, who was allegedly slapped and humiliated by her teacher and then suspended, to attend classes.As per Mayo International School, the girl, who belongs to economically weaker section (EWS), was suspended as her parents had allegedly misbehaved.Justice Manmohan said "since the girl's father has apologised, the court is of the view that the matter should be given quietus as the child was not at fault."
