Congress party's Chintan Shivir enters 2nd day

It is Day 2 of Congress party's Chintan Shivir in Jaipur. Top Congress leaders who continue to brainstorm for the 2014 general elections say the party is in urgent need to reconnect with alienated urban voters. Party members have been speaking about the need to address the aspirations of urban voters. One of the leaders pointed out that the party had hardly won any seat from urban constituencies in the Gujarat elections last month. The two-day Chintan Shivir will end today with the adoption of the Jaipur Declaration. A session of the All India Congress Committee is slated for tomorrow that is Sunday.
