BSF cancels flag meeting with Pakistan

Pakistani troops continued breaching the ceasefire along the LoC on Tuesday resorting to unprovoked firing. Pakistani rangers targeted 40 border outposts, villages and four sub-sectors in heavy mortar shelling and firing along international border, injuring three people.

The firing started around 9 PM last night which is still going on. Two civilians were injured in the firing in R. S. Pura sector. BSF troops have been retaliating to the firing from across the border effectively.

As many as 40 BSF posts in R S Pura and Akhnoor Sector were reportedly targeted. BSF troops gave a strong and befitting reply.

Firing is reportedly still continuing at some places in Pargwal.

There are no reports of loss or damage to the BSFso far.

A day ago, at least five people were killed and 25 other injured in a ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops in Jammu and Kashmir's Arnia sector.
