Sher Singh Dagar defending himself saying leave politics if found caught

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday released video footage allegedly showing one senior Delhi BJP leader offering money to AAP MLA Dinesh Mohania for abstaining from voting, in the eventuality of a trust vote. AAP's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said they will file FIR against BJP and also approach the election commission to demand action in the matter.

"The BJP has formed multiple teams to poach our MLAs. They are offering money to abstain from voting so that they get the majority mark and form the government in the Capital. We will not let this happen," the former Delhi chief minister said.

Mohania alleged he was approached by the said BJP leader about a month ago. "I informed the party leadership about this and together we decided to record all conversation. The last meeting took place on Sunday at the residence of BJP leader Sher Singh Dagar where he offered Rs four crore," he alleged.

Responding to AAP's charges, BJP leader Vijender Gupta said all allegations are baseless. "BJP wont but MLAs to form government in Delhi. AAP is going through a crisis," Gupta said.

Meanwhile, according to sources in the BJP, the party has asked its MLAs not to go out of the city until further orders. All 28 MLAs of the party have been verbally told to remain in the city, sources said.
