BJP rules out Nitish Kumar as NDA's PM candidate - NewsX

BJP national spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad has ruled out the possibility of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar becoming the NDA's Prime Ministerial candidate for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Prasad said the question of whether Narendra Modi would be the PM candidate would be discussed at an "appropriate time". The Gujarat Chief Minister has been endorsed by several top central BJP leaders including Sushma Swaraj for the PM post. The results of the Gujarat polls is said to be the real test and what could possibly be the deciding factor for Modi.
