Gadkari to continue as party President till January - NewsX

Ending months of speculation, the BJP announced that Nitin Gadkari will continue as the party's President till January 2013. We learn from sources that the BJP President's Election schedule will only be announced in the last week of December and the election is likely to be held around the 10th of January. There has been a shadow of doubt over Gadkari's second term, especially with allegations flying thick and fast over alleged financial irregularity of Gadkari's Purti Power & Sugar Group.
