More NDA-backed governors for four states; sources reveal expected names

Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Goa are likely to have new Governors soon with the Home Ministry recommending names to the President for appointment to the posts. Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Kalyan Singh could be appointed as Rajasthan Governor while BJP leader Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao may get Maharashtra. Mahila Morcha in-charge Mridula Sinha is in fray to head to Goa and Gujarat Vidhan Sabha Speaker Vajubhai is likely to be the Governor of Karnataka, according to sources.
