J&K: Top JeM commander killed in an encounter - NewsX

A divisional commander of the Jaish-e-Mohammed was killed in an encounter with security forces in the Rafiabad area of north Kashmir in the wee hours of Saturday. The militant, identified as Yasser Tonda was wanted by the police in several cases and the security forces were keeping a close eye on him. Security forces surrounded a building in the Chetloora Village in Rafiabad upon receiving a tip-off from intelligence sources. The terrorist fired upon forces when he was challenged triggering the shootout.
