Indo-Pak border on high alert after Kasab's execution - NewsX

The Border Security Force BSF has sounded a high alert on the India-Pakistan border after Kasab was hanged. Vigil has been specially heightened at particular locations in Jammu and Kashmir along the border. Movements across the Attari border are also being watched closely. Apart from extra vigil in the field area, a close eye will also be kept at the Retreat Ceremony area in the Attari sector. In recent weeks, the BSF has recorded increase in smuggling bids from across the border, indicating that anti-social elements on the Pakistani side were looking for an excuse to increase activities.
