Beaten by teacher: Nine-year-old Pia dies, teacher gets bail - NewsX

After suffering the injuries, Pia was in and out of hospital for two years. She was being treated for the cancer caused by her brain clot in Delhi, but after all attempts to treat her failed, her parents took her back to Jaipur where she breathed her last a few days back. Pia died due to Neuroblastoma, a malignant tumor that develops from nerve tissue. Pia was operated upon eight times for her eye injury.
