Kidnapped Kanpur woman found murdered in car

A woman was allegedly kidnapped and killed on Sunday night when she was returning home along with her husband. The incident took place in Nawabganj area of the city.
According to reports, 8 motorbike borne assailants stopped their car from rear side and dragged the victim, Jyoti, from car. When her husband, Piyush shyam Deshyani, resisted the act, he was brutally thrashed by the bikers. Later, the assailants abducted the woman and fled from the spot.
The victim’s husband approached the police who later swung into action and started combing the area.
Later, Jyoti was found murdered inside a car. The police officials have also recovered three knives from the car.
