Tharoor hits back at Modi, says Sunanda Pushkar is 'priceless' - NewsX

Minister of State for Human Resource Development Shashi Tharoor hit back at Gujrat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, after the latter called Sunanda Pushkar, Tharoor's wife, '5o-crore-rupee girlfriend,' who had almost 70 crore stake in the Indian Premier League team Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Tharoor, who was accused of misusing his ministry powers to obtain favours from Kochi IPL team, tweeted, "My wife is worth a lot more than your imaginary 50 crores. She is priceless. But you need2be able2love some1 2understand that (sic)." Earlier, Modi took a jibe on Tharoor's personal life, by stating, "Wah kya girlfriend hai. Apne kabhi dekha hai 50 crore ka girlfriend?" (What a girlfriend? Have you ever seen a 50-crore girlfriend?)"
