UP: Faizabad violence in control, curfew to be lifted - NewsX

Curfew continued in the violence-hit areas of Faizabad for the fourth day today, even as district authorities held meetings with members of both the communities and asked them not to get panicked over rumours. As part of confidence building measures, Magistrate Deepak Agrawal, along with SSP Ramit Sharma, met people from various localities for bring them together under one umbrella for discussions. The administration also constituted locality-wise committees consisting representatives from both communities that will work for establishing peace in their respective areas.
