Kejriwal to protest against inflated electricity bills - NewsX

Arvind Kejriwal and other members off India Against Corruption are staging protests against hikes in power tariff across the National Capital today. This despite, not being given permission to hold protest by the Delhi Police. In fact, Kejriwal had tweeted earlier that he will go ahead with his programme, saying that let Delhi Police do their 'dharma' and they will do theirs. Kejriwal added on the microblogging site that the police were informed about the programme almost 10 days back. Earlier, in its fourth hike in last one year, the power tariff for domestic consumption was hiked by 24 per cent, while commercial power tariff was raised by 19.5 per cent.
