Bihar: SIT to probe protests at Nitish's rally - NewsX

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has cracked the whip against the incidents at Khagaria during his 'Adhikar Yatra', where vandalism prevailed. A special investigation team has been formed to probe the attack and so far 35 people have been arrested. Khagaria SP Mithoo Prasad, said the attack was part of a conspiracy hatched by youth wings of some opposition parties. He, however, refused to name the organisations whose workers were allegedly involved in the attack. Also, as part of the probe, an FIR has been lodged against 75 named accused and 600 unknown persons for brick-batting, arson, setting ablaze vehicles and damaging Government property.
