Asaram Bapu case: Amrit Prajapati dies in hospital

A key witness in the sexual assault case involving self styled godman Asaram died on Tuesday in Ahemdabad civil hospital. Amrit Prajapati was undergoing treatment in the hospital after being shot at in Rajkot on May 23.
Prajapati was a key witness, having revealed vital details in the case. He had claimed that Asaram was farming opium and he had caught the latter in a compromising position with the girls.
Prajapati, an ayurveda practisioner was shot at his clinic in Rajkot at around 1:15 pm on May 23. He had suffered severe gun shot wounds - a bullet had pierced his neck during the attack
