Heavy rains cause trouble in Mumbai - NewsX

Torrential downpour has created havoc in Mumbai. Local trains in Maximum City, especially on the Central and Harbour Lines, are running 20 minutes late this evening, due to heavy rains. Mumbai and large parts of Maharashtra experienced a lull of three days from incessant torrential rains. But today's downpour has thrown normal life out of gear. Several low-lying areas in the city and suburbs were either waterlogged or flooded. That caused delays in vehicular movement and created massive traffic snarls on both the national highways and other major roads. What's worse is that the Weatherman has forecast similar heavy to very heavy rains over Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra for the next two days.
