Jitan Manjhi to be new Bihar CM
Nitish Kumar has resigned as the Chief Minister of Bihar but will continue to look after party. JD-U Bihar President Basisth Narayan Singh said that Nitish and Sharad Yadav will meet the governor today evening and decide the name of the successor.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced Bihar SC/ST Welfare Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi to be his successor. Manjhi who is considered close to Kumar had contested the 2014 Lok Sabha polls from Gaya. The JD (U) leader, polled 1,31,828 votes, somehow managed to retain his security deposit.
