Up ahead, difficult tasks lie in wait for Pranab Mukherjee. During his presidential campaign, Shiv Sena had urged Pranab to make clear his stand on the clemency plea of Guru. But also putting Pranab Mukherjee in the spot were MLA's in Jammu and Kashmir, who demanded his signature on a plea, seeking commuting Guru's plea.
