TMC versus Congress over ITDC chief appointment - NewsX

There is another Trinamool Congress vs Congress brewing in the government. Minister of state for tourism - Sultan Ahmed, a confidant of TMC Mamata Banerjee, has opposed the appointment of senior Congress leader Shankarsinh Vaghela as the head of India Tourism Development Corporation with the rank of a cabinet minister. He has now taken up the issue with the Prime Minister, complaining to Manmohan Singh about the appointment.
