City of joy erupts in celebration as IPL winner Kolkata Knight Riders take out a victory march. King Khan gets heroes welcome in Kolkata. The victorious IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders will be felicitated today by the West Bengal Chief Minister at Eden gardens. Ahead of the felicitation the KKR team will be taken in a procession with the IPL trophy from Hazra crossing in South Kolkata to Writers Building, a distance of six kilometres, where the Chief Minister would greet them, accompanied by team owner Shah Rukh Khan. Since the entire programme has been announced in a short notice, senior police officers were apprehensive about the security, especially because a host of celebrities, including Bollywood and Tollywood stars, will participate in the victory rally. Crowds have already started gathering in the stadium since the morning.
