Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has come under huge flak for allegedly spending about Rupees 25 crore on advertising, publicity materials, and decoration for the one year of achievements by Jayalalithaa government. The chief minister's alleged extravagant spending comes under the scanner all the more because of the heavy financial burden the state is under. The huge 4 pages advertisements in bright colours appearing in Tamil Nadu papers show the one year of AIADMK govt's achievements. The AIADMK govt projects that it has done a leap worth a hundred years of progress in one year J Jayalalithaa's governance. The Opposition parties have come down heavily on the ads.
