Auto strike hits Mumbai commuters-NewsX

It was a grueling day for commuters in Mumbai, as close to 80 thousand autos went off the road in protest. The auto drivers are demanding fare hikes including an almost 50 per cent increase in the base fare. Commuters were forced to clamber onto packed buses and local train to make it to their destinations.
