Odisha hostage crisis: Home secretary meets Maoist mediators- NewsX

Odisha's State Home Secretary UN Behra is meeting with the Maoist mediators. This after Naveen Patnaik had officially announced the release of five Maoists as per the demand of Sabyasachi Panda. This has miffed the Maoists and the mediators, since they claim that their leader had demanded the release of six in exchange for freeing Italian hostage Paolo Basusco.
