Two tribals lynched in Jharkhand by Kangaroo court- NewsX

The writ of state laws does not run in the jungles of Jharkhand's Dumka. Two tribals have been lynched in a village in the area on the orders of a kangaroo court. Reports say Bhim Tudu and Shankar Kusku were awarded the death sentence by members of Disom Manjhi, the topmost body for the traditional tribal system of self-rule. The incident happened about 40km from the Dumka district headquarters. The deceased were themselves accused of murder, and the Kangaroo court had convened to decide on the matter. On being given death, they were hunted down and attacked with sharp weapons in the presence of nearly 1,000 others. Their houses were burnt down and bodies thrown into fire.
