Asaram Bapu's deadline expires today, aides fail to appear

Even as the deadline for Asaram Bapu to appear before police for questioning ends on Friday, none of his three aides who were also summoned turned up.
Three employees of Asaram, including Shilpi (the warden of the hostel at Chhindwara'sGurukul), Keshav (gurukul attendant) and Shiva (sewadar of bapu, who was with him at Manai ashram on the day of incident), were served the summons asking them to appear before the investigating officer at Jodhpur on August 29, a day before the deadline for Asaram ends on Friday.
